Eventually, this site will be a world-wide genealogical wiki. Right now it only has static webpages generated from GEDCOM files. The goal is to give stories for people, not just names and dates. An effort is made not to give names dates or stories for living people.

• Birthdates and nicknames are guessed for anyone without one.
• One page is generated per person, with a URL like "lomica.com\ni\ck\_x\xx.html", including any notes that were in the GEDCOM for that person.
• Living people (died less than 5 years ago, or might still be living and born less than 105 years ago) are omitted.
• People with living siblings or ancestors are omitted.
• Marriages with living spouses or children are omitted.
• Spouses in omitted marriages have their notes omitted, because those notes usually have stories about living people. Once the site is wikified, you'll be allowed to add notes for these spouses, it's just the notes from the original GEDCOM file that will be omitted.

Until this site gets wikified, there's another pretty good genealogical wiki already online at http://www.sharedtree.com. It already supports editing pages, generating pages from GEDCOM files, and merging duplicates.

Any comments? More GEDCOM files are needed, too.
