Lowries have a copy of a printed document compiled by a preacher in Canada named Mehlenbacher of the genealogy of the Mehlenbacher side. (Barb Jenkins' feeble memory)
Aunt Helen:
The offspring, three The Robert Lowry brands - apparently were much more happy-go-lucky about funds, but Geo. (cousin) said they "enjoyed what they had". All I can remember was Grandma L. forever cooking - smelling of good kitchen soup - tucking up stray ends of her long hair - wrinkled + a very sweet lady. My father was very loving caring to her - as shown in post cards + messages he sent her when travelling in Canada with various bands. (he played a "mean" clarinet). So did Uncle Paul.
Pat Congdon:
George or Roger says, We only have Robert James Lowry and Catherine. Not James Lowry. On the website shows something about James, who married a Sarah. (what is this website). James died in 1919, so did George. Flu. Says Louis M"uhlenbacher's son changed the spelling to Mehlenbacher married on January 23, 1946 Louisa Klein. All protestant Germans ... born January 3, 1927, died December 15, 1911. Uncle Paul's birthday. They had Catherine Mehlenbacher born March 28, 1856, died 1932. Pat says "that's the lady hanging over my bed." I also think this is who Mom referred to as " Aunt Kate". She married Robert James Lowry who died in 1919. Their son Robert James Lowry was born July 14, 1884 died June 2, 1959. This was George's father (Mom's cousin George, Pat's husband). Robert was George (grandfather)'s brother.
George and Pat went to Fisherville and got a lot of information. There is some talk about stuff that Pat sent to Elaine. Catherine Mehlenbacher had 12 brothers and sisters. They were farmers.
