I did not make it to this cemetery when I made my trip to Tuscarawas Co., so I want to go back this Spring and find his grave. One would think that there would be some military records from his service in the War of 1812, but I have failed to get anything out of the National Archives and Records Administration. I was going to make a second attempt, but never got around to it. I know that Joseph came from Pennsylvania, just from the 1850 census info. I have ruled out a few families in PA that are not related, but there were so many Longs in Pennsylvania in the early 1800's that, without knowing a specific area or county, it is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
