I've seen her name officially spelled Lamkin, Lampkin, and Lambkin.
From Aunt Helen:
I'm quite sure they (Peter and Mildred) met in this country. There were two relatives named Coates - (a Lamkin relative of Grandmas married a Coates - who lived in Atlanta, Ga. the last I knew. One was Grace Coates ...
From Jane (Foller) Allan and Barb Jenkins' interview:
B: Very interesting, so, you're very German
J: Why do you think that? (laughs)
B: Cause of Faller
J: (laughs) Well, no, I had a, my grandmother. Grandmother Foller. We visited her where she lived, where she was born in Maidstone, England. She was an English girl.
B: What was your grandmother's name?
J: Mildred, uh, I can't remember her middle name, but, she was Mildred Foller. That's the only grandparent I ever, ever saw. Even knew, kind sad. But it was grandmother Foller that I have a very deep remembering of her sitting in a "couch" (?) chair. She made me think back ... way-a-Victorian (giggles). She had a black dress on. And only a little white collar. And she was very plump. Very plump and sweet. And sweet as the dickens. And I liked her a lot (giggles). I only was with her about 2 days. Well, that's… all the time we had. She lived with her daughter in Oil city (? Jane's voice so weak that she was often unintelligible). And we went up there, and, my mother, you know, was born in Franklin, PA.
