Yancy Baker moved his family to Kerrville Texas between 1910 and 1920. The reason for the move was that his wife had developed tuberculosis. Yancy Baker was the last living child of Thomas Jackson Baker and Martha N. Schoolfield. He died 81 years after his older sister Ally Baker Turner who died in 1878
